Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The TPM Leader will drive the successful deployment of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy in the Aiken Nonwovens Plant. This role is a member of the Plant's Natural Leadership Team (NLT) and is accountable for deploying appropriate TPM methodology and developing improvement programs in the facility, while monitoring and reporting progress. The TPM Leader will work closely with plant and functional leaders to drive loss elimination across the TPM pillars.

This position reports directly to the Plant Leader with dotted-line functional reporting relationship to the Regional TPM Leader and Director of TPM for the Nonwovens Business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead for Safety Excellence Maintain focus on safety in all TPM efforts
Use TPM methodologies to continue march to zero incidents
Adhere to and continuously improve all safety policies, procedures, and standards Lead the Plant TPM Efforts Build support and shared accountability for successful deployment of TPM
Implement process to assure effective best practice sharing and accelerate mutual progress
Serve as mentor/coach to develop excellence in use of TPM methodologies and change leadership
Lead, coach, and solicit input from team members to drive successful execution of global, regional and plant goals
Facilitate / coordinate training, as needed Deploy the TPM Strategy Facilitate major plant Initiatives and drive a Zero Injury, Zero Defect, Zero Loss Culture
Proactively share information that advances organizational goals
Support and drive root cause analysis, and measure the effectiveness of corrective actions
Lead rapid improvements in Safety, Quality and Performance by using relevant tools and techniques Drive Manufacturing Productivity Develop a clear understanding of all losses at the plant level to identify gap to zero loss across all key measures
Develop strategies and tactics to improve business results through development and execution of TPM efforts Monitor, audit and assess progress against the Insulation Operations strategy
Develop and communicate clear and measurable performance expectations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in business, Engineering, or related field
3+ Years experience in TPM deployment and leadership in a manufacturing operation Experience developing strategic plans and execution against those plans
Preferred Experience:
3+ years progressive technical experience in a manufacturing environment
TPM (JIPM) certification desirable
Influence leadership in a complex environment
Organizational change leadership
