Information Technology Description The Associate Director of Enterprise Applications will serve as Claflin University's enterprise subject matter expert (SME) for Jenzabar and related enterprise systems and services. The position will provide strategic leadership for the implementation, administration, optimization, integration, and continuous enhancement of the Jenzabar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment across the University. The Associate Director of Enterprise Applications will serve as the primary functional and technical administrator for Jenzabar and related enterprise systems, ensuring the reliability, integrity, security, and effective utilization of institutional data and business processes. The position will work collaboratively with academic and administrative departments to assess business needs, improve workflows, implement system enhancements, and ensure that enterprise applications effectively support the University's operational and strategic objectives. The Associate Director will also provide leadership in system governance, configuration, data integrity, integrations, user access and security, testing, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, documentation, and ongoing system support. The position will identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve operational efficiency, strengthen data management, enhance the user experience, and support informed institutional decision-making. Participate in institutional technology planning and enterprise applications strategy initiatives, ensuring alignment with the University's strategic goals and operational priorities. Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University's enterprise technology and operational objectives. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience Minimum of three (3) years of experience administering Jenzabar Desktop and J1 Web, student information, or enterprise business systems. Experience supporting business applications in a higher education environment preferred. Experience working with databases, reporting tools, SQL report writing, and business process analysis. Preferred Qualifications Experience in higher education technology administration. Experience managing software implementations or upgrades. Experience supporting data governance and institutional reporting initiatives. Project management experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems and higher education business processes. Understanding of student, financial, and administrative data systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong customer service orientation. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Ability to work collaboratively across departments. Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information. Knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, data analysis, and system integrations. Physical Requirements Ability to work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to occasionally Ability to occasionally lift and move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to travel occasionally between campus locations and professional development events as needed.
