PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Doors Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) organization propels our manufacturing transformation forward and leaves our competition reeling. The implementation of TPM The OC Way will deliver breakthrough productivity, zero accidents, zero defects, zero waste and zero unplanned downtime. As a member of the site leadership team, the Plant TPM Lead will drive the successful deployment of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy. This role is accountable for deploying appropriate TPM methodology (including lean methodologies and tools), coaching, transferring expertise and developing improvement programs across all areas of the plant, while monitoring and reporting progress. This person will work closely with the plant leader, functional leaders, and frontline workforce to drive loss elimination across TPM pillars. As the catalyst for this methodology, the individual will have strong leadership and facilitation skills and be seen as a strong agent of change who develops leaders around them.

Accountable for TPM capability at the plant and jointly responsible for TPM implementation with the site leader and plant leadership team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead for Safety Excellence Maintain a focus on safety
Ensure a safe, clean and environmentally compliant work environment and building a safety culture in all TPM efforts
Use TPM methodologies to continue drive to zero incidents and zero waste
Ensure that all control plans, work instructions, and other procedures related to the technical operation of the production lines identify and mitigate safety risks
Adhere to and continuously improve all safety policies, procedures, and standards Develop and Deploy TPM Motivate and empower people through positive attitude and stimulate change in mindset towards Zero Injury, Zero Defect, Zero Loss culture
Connect TPM implementation to delivery of critical business objectives
Act as a change leader in implementation of TPM The OC Way
Proactively share information that advances organizational goals
Be the TPM process expert for the site; assuring world class outcomes that deliver a competitive advantage.
Establish standardized routines and processes to ensure good and sustainable Pillar governance
Drive the key metrics (KMIs, KPIs and KAIs) to measure the organizational transformation
Conduct Kaizen and leading large change initiative projects
Effectively train employees in TPM
Live the Values and Vision of the Company; establish an engaged workforce characterized by mutual trust, open communications, teamwork, and recognition
Facilitate process improvements through people deployment, productivity enhancements, high performance work teams and being a model for change
Develop and leading strategic business plans to deliver Doors performance objectives
Identify and address barriers to TPM implementation
Define and tracking measures of success
Create and sustain a culture where talent is developed through effective performance management and talent evaluation Drive Productivity, Consistency and Continuous Improvement Drive effective operations and quality systems with a preventative and continuous improvement mindset
Develop strategies and tactics to improve business results through development and execution of TPM efforts
Analyze product and process data, providing feedback on performance and trends, and making recommendations to optimize performance
Coach, counsel, and train all employees on TPM
Clearly communicate priorities and support resourcing that maintain appropriate balance between achievement of both long-range objectives and current operating results Collaborate within the Business TPM Network Build support and shared accountability for successful deployment of TPM
Implement process to assure effective best practice sharing and adoption accelerating progress
Serve as mentor/coach to develop excellence in use of TPM methodologies and change leadership
Lead, coach, and solicit input from team members to drive successful execution of global, regional and plant goals
Facilitate / coordinate training, as needed
Constantly calibrate and benchmark OC TPM with JIPM and recognized world class manufacturing companies Collaboration and Influence Ability to persevere in the face of challenges, and exhibit a steadfast resolve and relentless commitment to higher standards, which commands respect from others

Partner with other Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Pillars to develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance plans for equipment to ensure employee understanding and ownership, and elimination of defects
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred.
2-4 years of TPM (JIPM) or Continuous Improvement/Lean deployment and leadership
Experience leading lean manufacturing or TPM implementation
Previous experience engaging with customers and adhering to customer needs
Experience in influencing change in results, processes, and culture
Cross functional leadership experience
