Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program / Portfolio Manager to support strategic technology initiatives within an IT delivery environment. This role focuses on planning, structuring, and managing technology portfolios to drive business value, modernization efforts, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in program and portfolio management, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to align technology initiatives with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels, including executives, engineers, architects, and business teams Lead planning and structuring of technology initiatives to support business value delivery Assess project scope and support prioritization across technology initiatives to drive modernization Build and maintain strong relationships with IT and product teams Develop and manage portfolio processes to optimize delivery, cost, and efficiency Document portfolio plans and present updates to technical, business, and leadership audiences Support planning and execution of initiatives aligned with portfolio goals, including OKRs, KRs, and KPIs Assist with change management initiatives across teams and the organization Manage financial aspects of programs and projects, including budgeting and forecasting Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives Perform additional duties as required in alignment with organizational objectives Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience 7-10 years of experience in technology project, program, or portfolio management roles Proven experience managing technology modernization initiatives Strong understanding of portfolio, program, and project management methodologies Experience creating and managing project/program plans, budgets, schedules, and resources Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management abilities Ability to identify, analyze, and manage dependencies across multiple initiatives Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environments Preferred Qualifications Experience in the financial services industry Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks Experience supporting large-scale enterprise technology programs Certifications (If Any) PMP certification preferred Scrum Master certification preferred
