Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves managing infrastructure design and delivery for the Global Information Security portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a strong project leader, responsible for the end-to-end management ofplex projects in a fast-paced environment, heavily utilizing Agile Scrum skills and Jira tools.

Responsibilities:

Act as the project's primary point of contact

Obtain and align resources to key project roles; establish clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities

Lead daily meetings consisting of the project team and partners

Remove delivery impediments and focus on the activities and progress of the service delivery team

Lead project execution, integration and implementation

Ensure Quality Assurance and that all applicable change requirements are satisfied

Define project milestones and socialize to business partners

Ensure milestone dates are met by driving execution of tasks

Hold resources accountable to agreed-to taskpletion dates

Engage technical resources and define their scope of work

Manage risk and mitigation planning

Ensure change management process adnce

Provide timely and routine updates in Jira in regard to project status, aplishments and next steps

Escalate project risks and issues to management

Establish and maintain relationships with technical partners

Manage project go-live events, which may require occasional night and weekend hours

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Technical Project Management
  • Strong background with Agile frameworks, Scrum, and Jira
  • Experience managing large-scale,plex infrastructure projects with matrixed resources
  • Knowledge of infrastructure technologies (server hosting, storage, network, database, middleware, traffic management, DMZ)
  • Proficiency with MS Project, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to manage the successful execution of technical solutions across multiple teams
  • Excellent written and oralmunication skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to proactively engage business and technology leaders
  • Keen attention to detail and strong sense of ownership and accountability
Desired skills:

Project delivery experience within a similar large-scale enterprise environment

Information Security knowledge

Pay range: $50.39 - $58.39 per hour
