Job Description

IT Project Manager •This is an onsite position - Local to Glen Allen only please
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end management of IT projects including scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies Adhere to and champion existing PMO methodologies (ex. Project charter, viable requirement, and UAT test results) and governance (ex. documentation of meeting minutes and cadence, change control and adherence to agree upon communication plan) Drive adherence to project goals, scope, success measures/criteria, etc. Plan, monitor, and report project progress Create, maintain, and deliver critical project documentation Lead the documentation of current and future state business processes Lead the documentation of standard work for business processes Lead business process improvement and issue resolution activities Facilitate project meetings and distribute meeting notes Provide accurate and timely project status reports Document and mitigate risks, issues, changes, and track action items Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive staff Report on project management KPIs Create and maintain project plans Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners Manage vendor delivery, statements of work, milestones, and invoice approvals. Lead solution acceptance, go-live readiness, and transition to operations
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Exceptional project management and time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex, technical concepts into business or layman's terms Excellent leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to address high-priority, quick turnaround requests Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple priorities simultaneously Ability to think logically and troubleshoot issues Effective analytical and problem-solving skills Adept negotiation skills Ability to balance the competing demands for quality, scope, schedule, and cost
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent hands-on experience 5 years of Project Management experience Experience with MS 365 (e.g., Teams, Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) Experience collaborating with 3rd party vendors Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project methodologies PMP, CAPM or Scrum Master certifications are a plus Proper email communication will only be done to and from @ astyra.com email addresses.
