Skills:
Required Skills & Experience:
A minimum of six (6) years of total project management experience.

Able to manage large and complex projects (greater than 5000 Hours with multiple PMs) with minimal to no supervision.

Communicates effectively in both written and verbal communications.

Ability to estimate projects deliverables based on different knowledge source and historical information.

Demonstrates strong leadership Creates Positive Peer / Team Interactions.

Ability to facilitate large WBS planning sessions.

Able to manage more complex project issues, risks and escalate appropriately.

Able to work with project stakeholders directly Advanced process knowledge.

Advanced understanding of project management.

Advanced communication/relationship management and mentoring skills.

Ability to represent the PMO in project governance/steering committee meetings.

Advanced understanding and ability to troubleshoot MS Project, SharePoint, MS Office and PWA.Able to proactively identify and initiate process improvement tasks.

Good understanding project management concepts outside of Froedtert Health.

Good understanding and knowledge of changes effecting project management.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Direct experience in project management within the health care field.
Education:
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
Preferred Education:
Education in a related field is preferred.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Responsible for all aspects of successful completion of project goals and objectives. This includes project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, closing and acceptance. Utilizes and advances generally accepted project management practices and methodologies (as determined by the department) to accomplish the project goals and objectives. Directs the activities of all the project personnel including but not limited to the vendors and consultants, toward successful completion of projects. Ensures adherence to quality standards and assures project deliverables are met as defined by the department.
Job Responsibilities:
Manages the Triple Constraint (scope, budget, and timeline). Leads Project planning and facilitates project execution (Execution and Monitoring, Resource Management and Issue/Risk Management) of large and complex projects. Communicates effectively in both written and verbal communications. Provides advanced customer communication and educates stakeholders in departmental processes. Problem Solves by working with stakeholders and the project team to effectively resolve and/or escalate complex project risks and issues in a timely manner. Creates and maintains positive peer, team, stakeholder interactions and relationships. Assists with guiding, mentoring and training team members. Educates stakeholders in departmental processes. Develops and delivers formal training for staff on new processes or changes to existing processes, tools (MS Project, SharePoint etc.) Leads effort to investigate, identify, develop and consistently evolve processes documentation, communication along with the governance process specific standards. Leads effort to improve and implement team standards, processes, functionality/technology and policies. Other duties as assigned.
