Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Quantitative Researcher II (Citadel Securities Americas Services LLC - Miami, FL) Multiple positions available. Offering a salary range of $250,000 - $300,000 per year.
Job Duties:
Formulate advanced mathematical and simulation models of complex market problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters using technology, mathematical and statistical modeling, and computer systems. Perform and analyze market micro-structure trading simulations to develop trading strategies. Perform statistical and data analysis of historical market information to develop predictive signals. Conceptualize valuation strategies, develop, and enhance mathematical models and research tools, and translate algorithms into code. Conduct research and statistical analysis to build and refine monetization systems for trading signals.
Requirements:
A Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Education, training, or experience must include the following: Conducting time-series or cross-sectional analysis to develop trading strategies; Qualitative data analysis methods and techniques (including Robust Regression, Statistical Machine Learning, or Natural Language Processing); C++ or OOD programming; Utilizing Python, R or C++ to translate mathematical models and algorithms into code; and Analyzing gigabyte or terabyte sized large datasets.
