Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Quantitative Researcher II positions offered by Citadel Securities Americas Services LLC ( Miami , Florida ). Formulate advanced mathematical and simulation models of complex market problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters using technology, mathematical and statistical modeling, and computer systems. Perform and analyze market micro-structure trading simulations to develop trading strategies. Perform statistical and data analysis of historical market information to develop predictive signals. Conceptualize valuation strategies, develop, and enhance mathematical models and research tools, and translate algorithms into code. Conduct research and statistical analysis to build and refine monetization systems for trading signals. Requires a Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Education, training, or experience must include the following: Researching and computing high-dimensional mathematical models and structures including Shimura varieties Designing and testing algorithms to run on terabyte-sized input datasets including hardware formal verification algorithms Designing and validating mathematical models of large-scale systems (hardware behavior) Programming OOD utilizing Python to translate research models and algorithms to codes Monitoring and improving algorithm performance based on empirical results Collaborating with engineering teams to deploy research outputs Please submit resume and transcripts to citadelrecruitment@citadel.com.
