Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields. Experience programming in C++ and Objective-C. Experience with Android development. Experience personalizing user interfaces using machine learning. Responsibilities Drive full-stack development in the YouTube Shorts consumption experience, offering opportunities across client development (native iOS and Android), cross-platform UI (go/elements) and C++ frontend serving (server platform). Leverage Rasta, SQL/Go pipelines, and other tools for experiment and data analysis. Pioneer new work streams to build ML models and heuristics that will personalize and optimize the Shorts player UI.
