Job Description

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for "XXXXXX". Overview You will be integral to the design and development of new Android applications in addition to overseeing the ongoing enhancements and maintenance of existing Android applications. As a technical lead you will be responsible for heling set technical direction as it pertains to our mobile solutions. Your role will include designing, implementing, and enhancing Android. You will work as part of a cross-functional team which includes product owners and other technical leaders/architects to contrive and deliver holistic solutions and features. As a technical lead you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the work of a geographically diverse group Android/mobile developers. This role requires oversight and some management of other technical staff and their work.
Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications to be considered a candidate are a bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline and a combination of education and or equivalent work experience. The candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of Android software development experience. In addition, the following qualifications are required:
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience designing and developing commercial Android or mobile solutions. At least 1 year as a technical lead, architect, or manager. Experience working in Agile Scrum environments. Experience working with product owners, UI/UX designers and knowledge of UI design principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. Experience and understanding of the entire Mobile SDLC using Android SDK. Solid understanding of networking concepts, network communications, and protocols such as TCP/IP. Solid understanding of modern client/server (web) APIs such as REST and GraphQL. Knowledge of Test driven/first software development unit testing, functional testing, and continuous integration. Solid understanding of concurrent programing/concurrency such as multithreading, Debugging (ADB preferred) and problem-solving skills. Solid experience with OOP and design patterns, such as MVVM, MVC, etc. Good understanding of AOSP. Other (desirable) Qualifications Experience with security software and solutions is a plus. Experience with C/C++ and the Android NDK is a plus. Experience with other programming languages such C#, Python, Go, or Rust is a plus. Experience/knowledge with "backend" development is a plus. Experience with JNI/Android NDK integration is a plus. Compensation depends on experience but is typically $130k - $150k +10% bonus
