This greenfield project involves designing a secure, responsive iOS application used worldwide, giving you the opportunity to influence our success on a global scale. Work flexibly from our Elk Creek facility in Maryland, our locations in Flagstaff or Phoenix, or remotely within most US locations.
What You'll Do:
Design, build, and maintain high-quality React Native iOS applications tailored for a global user base. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, product managers, and designers, to define features and mentor junior developers. Optimize app performance for speed and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience. Debug, fix issues, and implement UI/UX designs directly translating wireframes into robust code. Stay current with mobile technology trends, develop automated tests, conduct code reviews, and document processes. Integrate third-party APIs and continuously evaluate new technologies to improve development efficiency.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, or Engineering. Minimum of 5 years' experience developing line-of-business applications. At least 3 years' hands-on experience developing iOS applications with React Native, emphasizing code quality. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, React Native (v0.76.0 "bridgeless architecture"), and NodeJS. Advanced knowledge of React Hooks, Redux, SQLite, and React-query. Solid understanding of authentication protocols like OIDC OAuth 2.0, JWT, and session management. Experience working with
HTTP/REST
APIs (Fetch, Axios), state management, and iOS platform features such as notifications and background tasks. Familiarity with VSCode, XCode, Git/GitHub, and Apple certificate management. Have Skills:
Experience with async-storage or similar frameworks like react-native-mmk. Designing responsive apps for various iOS devices (iPhones, iPads). Familiarity with React Native Navigation, WebSockets, and wireframing. Basic knowledge of CRM systems, especially Salesforce. Exposure to Azure services such as Functions, BLOB Storage, Cosmos DB. Proficiency with Postman for testing and API development.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in relevant technical fields. 5+ years in application development, with significant mobile iOS experience. Strong coding portfolio demonstrating high-quality React Native applications.
