Job Description

Busy public relations, marketing and advertising agency has an immediate opening for an in-house, creative and talented Multimedia Designer.
Duties include:
Create, design and develop products including logos, brochures, palm cards, newsletters, booklets, etc. Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts. Produce print-ready designs and web-ready graphic treatments. Create and implement various multimedia concepts and designs - including animation - for social and digital media platforms. Work closely with the agency team and is able to communicate and work with the client and colleagues.
Requirements include:
Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Knowledgeable of various file types (.eps, .tiff, .ai, .jpg, .pdf), etc. Must know how to work using the Mac (for the design team) and know how to operate Windows platforms. Web development is a big plus. Two years of professional work experience in the field, and an Associate's Degree in graphic arts or related multimedia design is required. A Bachelor's Degree in the field is a plus. The successful applicant will also have a strong portfolio to demonstrate their talent and exceptional professional work. This person will also be efficient, deadline oriented, and has the ability to work under pressure and within tight timelines.
