IT Systems Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Systems Technician to join our technology team! In this role, you will provide technical assistance and support for computer system, hardware and software helping users resolve issues and optimize their use of technology.

Duties NETWORK:

Maintaining Lan and isolate and resolve network problems. Coordinate with California Area Office Indian Health Services and Telecom provider (s) to resolve WAN trouble. Maintain and update documentation of the entire network including: diagram, inventory, knowledge base.

COMPUTER

Provide Desktop support and security for the Health Center, Yuki Trails, and FRC Indian ED. Provide technical assistance to RVIHC staff. Assist in training staff for basic PC functions. Install and configure PC software packages. Maintain all PC's with regard to antivirus, protection, security patches and software updates.

TELE-MEDICINE

&

Ehealth:

Maintain and troubleshoot Tele-medicine devices (hardware and software) including codec's auxillary camera's audio, input and output devices. Coordinate test calls for telemedicine visits, staff training, administrative meetings that require the use of video conferencing or multimedia. Work with the Tele-Medicine Technology Team during expansion of Tele-medicine services at California Area Indian Health Service clinic sites.

TELEPHONE

Maintain and troubleshoot phone systems (digital and analog) Facilitate all telecommunication issues with regard to additions and changes to the existing voice and data network.

OTHER:

Research technology products to meet the expanding needs of all departments. Communicate and negotiate with vendors to achieve the best product, and service prices. Web site continuous maintenance . Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards for electronic date, video fax and voice transfer.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and experience in computer networking and maintenance, telecommunications services, and Tele-Medicine services. Valid California Driver's License. Pass a pr-employment drug screen

Pay:

$28.39 - $38.39 per hour
