Sr. Network Engineer

Description Client = Large Restaurant Chain Company Size = 50k+ Years in Business = 50+ Comp Range = Up to $160k Job Type = Permanent Full-Time Employment O/H/R = Hybrid Onsite (4x per week) Position Summary Seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong enterprise-level experience in a primarily networking-focused role. Responsible for ensuring the network is operating optimally so associates can always access the network with sufficient speed and capacity. This position configures routers, switches, and firewalls to maximize efficiency and ensure reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives. The Senior Network Engineer also ensures patches and firmware are applied to the network to guarantee proper functioning and availability of new functionality. This position oversees all network-related projects and serves as the technical lead for the Disaster Recovery Project. The Senior Network Engineer also conducts research on network infrastructure products, services, and protocols to remain abreast of the development in the networking industry. Requirements Requirements + 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience, with a focus of roughly 80% networking and 20% systems + Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet technologies, including routers, firewalls, and switches + Familiarity with NetApp storage, as well as data center networking and storage networking + Experience supporting a large, enterprise environment, ideally at scale; this team supports over 2,000 store locations + Ability to serve as a lead for Disaster Recovery, including ongoing maintenance, testing, and patching for the DR site + Knowledge of Azure cloud networking, as this is primarily an Azure environment + Experience partnering closely with cybersecurity teams to support secure network operations Additional Context + This is a senior-level role for someone comfortable working in a large, complex infrastructure environment + Ability to lead projects on their own and be involved in planning, implementation, and support phase. Knowledge and relationships with vendors. + The position is heavily focused on networking, but some systems knowledge is also important.
