Strategic Imperative:
The Business Process Automation Associate supports Prodege's Business Automation function by learning to streamline operational workflows through practical, low-code/no-code automation. With coaching, established standards, and a prioritized intake queue, this role develops the skills to translate stakeholder needs into reliable, repeatable workflows that reduce manual effort and improve speed and accuracy across the business. This position is designed as an operations enablement career path (Associate → Specialist → Senior) focused on workflow automation and systems integration—not a traditional software engineering role—building expertise in business process design, automation tooling, and cross-functional execution.Prodege:

( typical monthly, weekly, daily tasks which support the primary objectives ) Workflow Automation Delivery Build, configure, and maintain automations in n8n that streamline common workflows (task creation, routing, notifications, status updates, enrichment, approvals, system syncs). Implement workflow logic (conditions, branching, transformations), error handling, retries, and alerts to ensure reliability. Monitor workflow runs, triage failures, and perform routine maintenance to keep automations healthy and current. Stakeholder Intake & Requirements Translation Participate in intake conversations to understand pain points, desired outcomes, and process constraints. Document requirements clearly (inputs/outputs, decision rules, owners, edge cases, permissions, approvals). Propose practical automation solutions while balancing speed, reliability, and operational risk. Systems Integration & Data Flow Enablement Connect and coordinate workflows across HubSpot, Jira, and Snowflake via connectors, APIs, and webhooks. Support field mapping, data validation, and basic transformation rules to improve data accuracy and usability. Work with internal owners (Ops, Systems, Data) to request access, troubleshoot permissions, and coordinate upstream/downstream changes. Quality, Testing, and Operational Reliability Create and execute test plans for new and updated automations; validate results against requirements. Maintain appropriate controls (validation checks, audit logs, human review steps, rollback plans). Track issues and outcomes, contributing to improvements in workflow success rates, cycle-time reduction, and manual work eliminated. Documentation, Standardization, and Continuous Improvement Maintain documentation for each workflow: purpose, owner, triggers, dependencies, field mappings, and troubleshooting steps. Contribute to reusable templates, naming conventions, and standard automation patterns for the Business Automation function. Identify recurring operational friction and recommend improvements to simplify processes before/while automating. Responsible Use of ML/AI-Enabled Tools Apply ML/AI-enabled tools appropriately (e.g., classification, summarization, enrichment, routing support) within automations. Validate outputs, document confidence/limitations, and route high-impact decisions to human review when needed. Follow Prodege expectations for data handling, access control, and responsible use of AI-enabled automation.MUST Haves:
( ex: skills, education, experience, certifications, licenses ) Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Operations, or a related field. One or more (1+) years of experience in an internship, co-op, or full-time role involving automation, systems support, analytics, business or technical operations. Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n, Zapier, Make, Power Automate) and comfort learning new platforms quickly. Working knowledge of APIs/webhooks , data formats (JSON/CSV), and troubleshooting concepts. Familiarity with HubSpot and/or Jira and interest in business process improvement. Ability to build or support workflows using a no-code/low-code automation tool (n8n preferred) and learn quickly through hands-on configuration. Comfort working with business systems (HubSpot and/or Jira) and understanding how teams use them day-to-day. Basic understanding of integrations (APIs, webhooks, JSON/CSV) and a troubleshooting mindset. Strong communication skills; able to operate in U.S. time zones and interpret stakeholder needs in real time. Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to documentation and repeatable standards. basic Python or SQL understanding; not required to be a software developer. Basic Python familiarity (helpful for understanding logic, not for building full applications). Experience with ticketing/work management workflows (Jira automation, SLAs, intake queues). Familiarity with ML/AI concepts such as classification, extraction, or summarization workflows (tool usage level). Exposure to Snowflake , basic SQL, or data validation concepts.Pay Transparency:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.Prodege Benefits:
