Network Engineer Aruba (Part-Time, Milpitas, CA) (Milpitas, CA, 95035) | 05/14/26 Easy Apply Share Job Job Description Network Engineer - Aruba (Part-Time, Milpitas, CA) We are looking for a Network Engineer for a large, global B2B high-tech company. In this role, you will act as an extended member of the customer team to support the account on a daily basis. Holds an intermediate background in networking and hardware - Aruba Controllers, Airwave servers, and ClearPass Servers. This is a 6-month contract project (Extension Possible), 20 hours per week, on-site role in Milpitas, CA. This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine checks on the network to ensure it is up to standards. Support HPE Employees with setting up Layer 1, physical connections. Be able to update and modify documentation and processes. Work with HPE Employees to resolve Connectivity issues in lab effectively and efficiently. Identify potential issues and monitor/update the tasks.

Requirements:

6+ years of work experience in a related field. Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry. Wireless experience: Controllers and Access Points Knowledge of hardware requirements for HPE Aruba product portfolio: Switching, Routing, Wireless AP and IAP, Controllers, SD-WAN, HPE Aruba AirWave, Aruba ClearPass and, Aruba Meridian Familiarity of networking (LAN-WAN-WLAN). Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry Basic business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection. Effective communication skills, attention to detail, ownership, change management skills, team player and collaborates with product and support teams. Experience working in a fast-paced multi-vendor environment involving quick turnaround time. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study.
