Job Description:
We're looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to help drive automation and quality across modern web and API-based applications. This role offers the opportunity to design scalable test solutions, strengthen release confidence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Core Java, Selenium, and related tools. Create and execute automated API test coverage for RESTful services using Rest Assured. Build and support functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation suites. Partner with developers, analysts, and product owners to define test strategies and review requirements. Execute test plans, review results, identify defects, and help drive issues through resolution. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster delivery. Perform backend and database validation using SQL queries. Participate in sprint planning, story refinement, defect triage, and release readiness activities. knowledge, mentor team members, and promote automation best practices. Skills 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or SDET roles. Strong hands-on programming experience in Core Java, including object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling, and design patterns. Practical experience automating APIs with Rest Assured. Deep knowledge of Selenium WebDriver for UI automation. Experience with TestNG or JUnit. Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and microservices architectures. Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Preferred Skills Experience testing cloud-native and microservices-based applications. Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber. Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, or AWS/Azure environments. Comfort working in Agile/Scrum teams.
