Position Overview :
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, able to quickly learn new technologies, and works effectively in a collaborative engineering environment. This role will support the development, execution, and maintenance of engineering content used for hardware validation and testing.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and update test content for validation and testing. Support the creation and maintenance of Python-based automation and test scripts. Execute, troubleshoot, and debug content in Linux-based environments. Work with hardware platforms to support testing, validation, and issue investigation. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve workflows. Document technical procedures, findings, and best practices. Participate in code reviews, content reviews, and continuous process improvements. Utilize collaboration and version control tools to manage engineering content.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). Working knowledge of Python, including the ability to understand existing code. Experience writing Python scripts is a strong plus. Basic understanding of computer hardware and hardware validation concepts. Experience working in Linux environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience using GitLab for source control and collaboration. Experience using Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing. Knowledge of SSD architecture, storage technologies, or storage device validation. Experience working with enterprise or lab server environments. Familiarity with automated test frameworks and scripting. Experience troubleshooting hardware and software integration issues. Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies in a fast-paced engineering environment. Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools, methodologies, and best-known methods (BKMs), including the use of generative AI to improve software development, test creation, debugging, documentation, and engineering productivity.
