Job Summary We are seeking an 5+ Years experienced Jira Engineer with hands-on expertise in Jira administration and development to optimize our Atlassian ecosystem. The ideal candidate will manage configurations, automate workflows, and integrate tools to support agile teams in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Administer Jira instances, including workflows, schemes, permission management, and advanced configurations. Develop and implement Jira automation using tools like Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner, or equivalents. Customize Jira plugins, boards, and reports to align with business needs. Integrate Jira with Confluence and other tools for seamless collaboration. Troubleshoot issues, perform upgrades, and ensure system performance and security. Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to enhance tool usage. Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on Jira administration experience (5 years minimum preferred). Strong proficiency in Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, and configurations. Proven experience with Jira automation tools (e.g., Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner). Familiarity with scripting languages like Groovy, JavaScript, or Python (preferred). Basic understanding of Confluence integration. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a hybrid team setting. Preferred Skills Experience with Atlassian Suite (Bitbucket, Bamboo) or enterprise-scale Jira deployments. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
