Job Description:

This role supports production‑grade NPI (New Product Introduction) and Production Lab deployments , owning end‑to‑end execution for bringing up, expanding, and operating NPI infrastructure in Santa Clara, CA . The engineer partners closely with hardware, software, operations, and capacity planning teams to deliver reliable, production‑parity lab environments . Required Qualifications Hands‑on experience delivering and troubleshooting network infrastructure in lab and/or production environments Minimum several years of relevant experience in: Network engineering Infrastructure deployment Strong knowledge of data center networking concepts and operational troubleshooting Familiarity with a subset of the following (depth varies by focus area): DC fabric architectures (spine‑leaf / Clos) Routing and switching fundamentals

BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, OSPF

Telemetry‑driven troubleshooting and incident response Hands‑on experience with: IPv6, DHCPv6, SLAAC Optical transceivers (SFP+, QSFP, OSFP) Cabling types (DAC, AEC/AES, fiber) Understanding of server architecture and hardware components Strong cross‑functional coordination skills Clear written and verbal communication Willingness and ability to work onsite in Santa Clara based on deployment schedules Familiarity with internal network management and provisioning tools (training provided if needed)
