As we evolve from traditional telecommunications into AI-assisted security and cloud-integrated infrastructure, we need a leader who can bridge the gap between reliable hardware and the future of intelligent surveillance. If you are a certified expert who understands that a great phone system is only as good as the VLAN architecture it sits on, we want to talk to you.
Duties System Architecture:
Lead the installation, programming, and maintenance of Avaya IP Office (Core Servers, Modules, and Endpoints).
Network Optimization:
Design and implement robust VLAN configurations on managed switches to ensure dedicated bandwidth and security for VoIP and surveillance traffic.
Infrastructure Migration:
Manage the transition for clients moving from traditional PRI lines to SIP Trunks and hybrid cloud environments.
Security Integration:
Deploy and troubleshoot NVR/IP surveillance systems, focusing on power support and network reliability.
R D & Training:
Evaluate and master new AI-assisted security products and cloud-based communication tools as they are integrated into our portfolio.
Requirements Certification:
Current Avaya IP Office Certified Implementation/Support Specialist (ACIS/ACSS).
Networking Mastery:
Expert-level knowledge of Layer 2/3 Switching and VLAN tagging. You should be able to configure a network from scratch to support high-density VoIP and Video traffic.
VoIP Depth:
Deep understanding of SIP protocols, codec optimization, and jitter/latency troubleshooting.
Lead Experience:
Proven experience managing complex job sites and mentoring junior technicians.
Growth Mindset:
A genuine curiosity for AI-assisted security and a drive to stay ahead of the curve in cloud technology. Technical "Must-Haves" Proficiency with Avaya Manager, System Status, and Monitor. Strong experience with managed switches (Ubiquiti, Cisco, or similar). Knowledge of low-voltage standards and hardware power requirements (UPS/NVR support).
Pay:
$62,400.00 - $83,200.00 per year
