Job Description

Job Title Network Engineer Denver, CO (Onsite) 6 months contract We're seeking an expert-level Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network environments. This role will focus on improving network performance, reliability, and security across LAN/WAN infrastructure. Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining network systems, troubleshooting complex issues, enhancing resilience, and collaborating with architects on optimization initiatives. You'll also support network security efforts through policy enforcement and access controls. Top Skill Sets Required 1. Networking and Infrastructure (Core Must-Have) Routing protocols:
BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnets, VLANs Experience with LAN/WAN environments Hands-on with routers, switches, firewalls 2. SD-WAN and Modern Network Technologies Expertise in SD-WAN design and implementation Network segmentation and architecture optimization Experience improving network resilience and scalability 3.
Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting Tools:
SolarWinds, Wireshark Deep experience in: Network performance monitoring Traffic analysis Root cause analysis of outages Strong diagnostic skills across distributed environments 4. Network Security VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) Firewall configuration and management Network access control and segmentation Security policy enforcement 5. Windows Server and Systems Support Windows Server administration basics Security practices: Patch management Access controls Firewall configurations 6. Optimization and Continuous Improvement Network performance tuning and upgrades Collaboration with network architects Experience designing and implementing scalable solutions.
