Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer - Wireless with expertise in enterprise networking, Cisco ACI, wireless technologies, SD-WAN, and data center infrastructure. This role is responsible for designing, deploying, migrating, and maintaining enterprise network systems while ensuring scalability, security, and performance across large-scale environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Cisco networking technologies, wireless infrastructure, and multi-vendor network environments, along with strong project management and troubleshooting skills. Key Responsibilities Design, plan, deploy, and migrate enterprise data center network systems from inception through implementation Develop and maintain Cisco ACI configuration plans with a focus on multi-data center environments Install, configure, and customize Cisco Unified Wireless Network, Cisco DNA Center, CMX, and Prime Infrastructure Optimize wireless network coverage and performance in high-density wireless environments Provide technical consulting, guidance, and support to internal teams during migration and implementation projects Create Low-Level Design (LLD), High-Level Design (HLD), implementation plans, migration plans, and acceptance test plans Install and configure network switches and lead migration activities following change management processes Perform detailed analysis of cabling infrastructure and develop updated cabling designs Collaborate with security teams to evaluate threats, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with security standards Prepare detailed technical documentation, operational procedures, and implementation manuals Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues across enterprise environments Support enterprise wireless, routing, switching, and SD-WAN infrastructure initiatives Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, and progress reporting activities Required Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise network solutions Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI implementation and wireless technologies Extensive experience configuring and customizing Cisco APIC controllers Expertise in Cisco Unified Wireless Networking technologies including 802.11 standards, LWAPP, CAPWAP, APs, WLCs, Prime Infrastructure, Cisco ISE, and Cisco DNAC Strong understanding of multi-vendor Layer 2, Layer 3, and Layer 4-7 environments Experience with Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, F5, Pulse Secure, and Citrix VPN technologies Strong Cisco device configuration and troubleshooting experience across multiple platforms Expert understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 fabric connectivity and switching architecture design Strong knowledge of routing protocols including EIGRP, BGP, and static routing Thorough understanding of networking principles including LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, VoIP, QoS, LDAP, and IPsec Experience with AWS infrastructure services Experience with Cisco SD-WAN technologies including Meraki and Viptela Experience with scripting and automation using Shell, PowerShell, or Python Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication, documentation, and project management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Cisco Meraki or Velocloud environments Experience supporting large-scale wireless deployments and enterprise migration projects Familiarity with network automation and software-defined networking administration Experience with enterprise security and compliance standards
