Seeking an experienced Azure Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise designing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Microsoft Azure networking environments. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Azure networking services, hybrid connectivity, network security, and Infrastructure-as-Code automation. Required Qualifications 5+ years of overall network engineering experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure networking.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Azure Virtual Networks (VNets)
Subnets
Network Security Groups (NSGs)
Azure ExpressRoute circuits
Azure VPN Gateway
Azure Firewall
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals:
TCP/IP
Routing and switching
DNS and DHCP
BGP
VPN protocols, including IPsec/IKEv2
Experience configuring and troubleshooting hybrid connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure.
Experience using Terraform or Ansible for network deployment, configuration, automation, and change control.
Strong understanding of network security principles, including network segmentation, least-privilege access, and firewall policy management.
Scripting/automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI.
Security+ certification.
Microsoft Certified:
Azure Network Engineer Associate or Azure Administrator Associate.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Azure Virtual WAN.
Experience with Azure Front Door.
Experience designing or supporting multi-region Azure network architectures.
Experience integrating third-party network/security appliances with Azure, including:

Cisco

Experience with Aviatrix.
Strong BGP routing experience.

Configure and manage VNets, subnets, NSGs, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, and Azure Firewall.
Support reliable and secure hybrid connectivity between on-premises environments and Azure.
Troubleshoot routing, VPN, DNS, connectivity, and performance issues.
Implement network infrastructure using Terraform or Ansible.
Develop and maintain network automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI.
Apply network security best practices, including segmentation, access control, and firewall policy management.
Support BGP routing and complex hybrid/multi-region network architectures.
Integrate and troubleshoot third-party security and networking appliances within Azure.
Participate in network changes, configuration management, documentation, and operational support.
