Job/Position Summary Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance Python-based automation tools, frameworks, and scripts to improve software quality, operational efficiency, and testing effectiveness. Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, automation frameworks, cloud services, and REST APIs supporting automation and integration platforms. Analyze testing, operational, and business metrics and generate reports to monitor software quality, automation performance, and engineering productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business and technical requirements and implement scalable automation and analytics solutions. Evaluate and implement automation opportunities for new processes, workflows, and engineering operations. Manage, maintain, and optimize Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, data integration services, monitoring, and cloud-native applications. Design and maintain data models, data pipelines, and integrations supporting reporting and analytics platforms. Develop and support Qlik Sense dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for engineering and business stakeholders. Lead and support migration of reporting and analytics solutions from Qlik Sense to Microsoft Power BI. Develop Power BI datasets, dashboards, reports, and data models to support enterprise reporting requirements. Conduct GitHub Pull Request reviews to ensure code quality, security, scalability, and maintainability. Investigate, reproduce, and troubleshoot software and system defects in collaboration with feature engineering teams. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for software defects and infrastructure issues. Contribute to solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical reviews. Monitor and maintain automation environments, cloud infrastructure, databases, and reporting platforms to ensure reliability and availability. Implement feature enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements across automation, backend, and analytics solutions.

Production-ready Python automation frameworks, scripts, utilities, and reusable software components delivered through source control repositories. Scalable Python applications, automation frameworks, cloud services, APIs, and integration solutions supporting automation and reporting platforms. Technical documentation including solution architecture, API documentation, user guides, and integration specifications. Secure, optimized, and well-maintained Google Cloud Platform environments including BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and supporting cloud infrastructure. Reliable data pipelines and integrations supporting reporting, analytics, and operational processes. Interactive Qlik Sense dashboards and reports providing visibility into software quality, testing effectiveness, and operational performance. Successfully migrated Power BI dashboards, datasets, and reports with validated data accuracy and performance. Standardized reporting frameworks, data models, and dashboard governance processes. Detailed defect investigation reports, diagnostic logs, and technical analysis supporting issue resolution. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports and corrective action plans for major software, infrastructure, and data-related issues. Completed peer reviews and code approvals following established coding standards and quality processes. Regular updates to engineering, automation, and analytics dashboards providing actionable insights to stakeholders. User training materials and knowledge-transfer documentation for automation, reporting, and analytics platforms.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 5+ years of experience in software development, automation engineering, backend development, data engineering, or related technical roles. Strong hands-on expertise in Python development, automation frameworks, scripting, backend services, microservices, and

development. Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise automation solutions and reusable software components. Mandatory hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services including BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, data integration technologies, and cloud-native application deployment. Python and Google Cloud Platform are the primary skills for this role. Candidates must demonstrate strong hands-on development experience in both areas. Strong database development, administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization experience across SQL and cloudbased databases. Experience designing and supporting data pipelines, ETL processes, and reporting data models. Experience with Qlik Sense is desirable and will be considered an added advantage. Experience with Microsoft Power BI is desirable and will be considered an added advantage, including dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, report optimization, and data visualization best practices. Experience planning and executing BI migration initiatives, preferably Qlik Sense to Power BI. Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Ability to analyze large datasets and generate meaningful business and engineering insights. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global cross-functional teams. Experience developing technical documentation, user guides, integration documentation, and support materials. Experience with Jira and other project tracking and defect management tools. Experience in automotive software development, connected vehicle technologies, OTA systems, software validation, or digital engineering environments is preferred.
