Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of our technology systems, supporting our business goals and objectives. Job Functions Design and Implementation Design and implement network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connections. Deploy and manage server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and backup solutions. Install and configure operating systems, applications, and software updates. Plan and execute infrastructure expansion or upgrades to accommodate company growth. Systems Maintenance Monitor the performance and availability of network devices, servers, and applications to ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems promptly to minimize downtime. Manage system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity Security Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, access controls, and data encryption. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security risks. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR or
ISO 27001.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and security principles. Proficiency in implementing and managing server infrastructure, including virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Experience with enterprise-level storage systems (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure. Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer or similar role in a corporate environment, preferably in the automotive industry.Pay:
