Job Description

Rooms to Go is hiring Industrial Engineers. What you'll be doing: Review production schedules, process flows, and other information, devising ways to minimize and resolve production issues Create systems and review production to ensure all processes maximize efficiency Develop management control systems to make financial planning and cost analysis more efficient Assist in financial planning and cost analysis Enact quality control procedures to resolve production issues and minimize costs Design production planning and develop management control systems to coordinate activities in order to ensure that products meet quality standards Identify opportunities where AI, automation, or emerging technologies can improve operational efficiency, productivity, and decision-making What we're looking for: 4-year college degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent 4-year degree with 2 years of experience in production processes, cost control and efficiencies preferably in a distribution or production setting Knowledge of the ways various systems interact and how changes in operations, production environment and other conditions will affect outcomes Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and/or Generative AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar enterprise AI platforms Experience using AI-assisted tools for data analysis, problem-solving, research, documentation, or process improvement Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of management in a positive, professional manner Must be able to work independently, demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects Must be able to identify resources, materials, and processes needed, including scheduling workflow, innovative and proactive, providing creative solutions to exceed expectations Be at least 18 years of age Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation Able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
