Job Description

Job Title:
Network Engineer (Contract)
Location:
Tucker, GA (Hybrid - 2 WFH Days)
Duration:
Long-term (Up to 2 years) We are hiring a top-notch Network Engineer to drive core design and documentation efforts for a high-priority network expansion. In this role, you will build site design packages, engineer wireless overlay/underlay diagrams, and model critical infrastructure to transition newly commissioned sites directly into operations. No travel required.
Key Responsibilities Network Design:
Engineer wireless overlay and underlay network designs for ~200 sites.
Documentation Packages:
Develop engineering packages for 84 new MPLS nodes and 50 optical nodes.
Diagrams & MoPs:
Create accurate Visio diagrams, cable run lists, rack elevations, and Methods of Procedure for assigned sites.
Infrastructure Modeling:
Model and manage network infrastructure for ~20 OPC plant sites using NetBox as the source of truth.
Site Preparation:
Populate site details, build rack elevations, and map installation dependencies to ensure operational readiness. Required Qualifications Expertise in network documentation (Visio diagrams, rack elevations, cable run lists, MoPs). Hands-on experience with NetBox or similar
IPAM/DCIM
