Overview :
We are hoping to find an individual who is dependable, motivated, and a demonstrated self-starter with a passion for industrial mechanics and electrical systems. Effective planning and organizational skills are important, along with being a team player who is dedicated to customer satisfaction. Job duties for this position include:
  • Provide electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical repair and service on CNC equipment.
  • Have a good working knowledge of Fanuc CNC controls.
  • Have good troubleshooting skills, such as diagnosing alarms and control issues.
  • Communicate well with customers, vendors, and co-workers. Including phone support and sourcing parts for customers.
  • Proactively ensure correct parts are ordered, delivered, and installed efficiently.
  • Set up new machinery, installation of options, and operator training on new machines
  • Promote Preventative Maintenance Programs
  • Schedule service and complete billing & service reports.
  • Continuing education classes as needed.
  • Open to learning the cutting- edge technology and programming of collaborative robots.
  • Physical demands may include bending, stooping, standing, climbing, lifting, pushing & pulling.
  • Standard work hours 8:00 am -5:00 pm.
However, travel may require extra hours or an overnight stay at times.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of strong work experience in troubleshooting, repair, and installation of CNC Machine Tool Products. Formal education and training would be a plus.
  • Ability to use a PC & iPad with job-related software.
  • Valid Driver's License, good driving record, and ability to drive and travel.
  • Ability to obtain a major credit card based on your own credit history to use for business and travel expenses.
This service engineer will be assigned a company vehicle, fuel and maintenance card, a laptop, iPad, and cell phone to be used as business tools. We offer a competitive salary package commensurate with experience and education. We have a great work environment along with a fun group to work with.
Pay:
$72,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
