Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Part Time Student

• Warehouse Health Engineer for JD Parts Distribution Center located in Milan, Illinois , you will: Provide engineering support to various warehouse departments, regional distribution centers, operations, and engineering staff.

Support engineering projects to drive improvements in key business metrics. Utilize data tools to analyze key warehouse processes, data, and metrics. Design warehouse layouts for optimal material flow and density Assist with new system and process integrations This position is not available to students on immigration visas What Skills You Need Ideally you will be pursuing a STEM-related degree; others may apply Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university Graduation date of May 2029 or later Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above Available to work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year Available to work 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester Must be able to commute to the work location on scheduled workdays What Makes You Stand Out Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools such as AutoCAD or Minitab, Solidworks, Creo. Knowledge of computer programming languages such as SQL and Python and reporting tools such as Tableau and PowerBI to analytically interpret data. Experience using engineering tools, systems, and databases. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications Self-starter with high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Organizational and project management skills.
