Senior Security Network Engineer with 8 10+ years of networking/security experience and at least 3 5 years of deep, hands on Cisco Firepower (FTD, FMC, Firepower appliances) in large enterprise or service provider environments. This is a senior, independent engineer role expected to drive lab work with limited supervision and present findings clearly to Comcast stakeholders. Candidate has owned Firepower design, implementation, and POC work-including access control policies, IPS, NAT, site to site and remote access VPNs, high availability, upgrades/migrations (ASA FTD is a plus), and integrations with tools such as ISE and SIEM platforms. They will most likely work primarily onsite in Comcast lab environments, designing and executing POCs and trials, troubleshooting complex issues, and creating detailed technical documentation, test matrices, and recommendations. Certifications such as CCNP Security (CCIE Security is a strong plus) and Firepower focused training are preferred, but extensive real world Firepower expertise is essential.
