We're partnering with a growing, well-established automation business delivering cutting-edge control systems across commercial and industrial environments. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire: Automation Engineers Controls Technicians Whether your expertise is in hands-on programming and commissioning, or leading projects and managing client relationships, there is an opportunity here to match your experience and long-term career goals. These positions play a key role in delivering automation and control projects from initial handover through to commissioning and client sign-off. Successful candidates will work on a wide variety of projects involving either: HVAC / Building Automation Systems (BAS / DDC Controls) or Industrial Automation Systems (PLC / HMI / SCADA) Depending on your background and experience, you may focus on technical delivery in the field, full project execution, or a combination of both. Key Responsibilities Deliver automation and control projects in either an industrila or building automation setting. Program, commission, and troubleshoot BAS/DDC or PLC/HMI control systems Support or lead project execution, scheduling, documentation, and coordination Act as a key point of contact between customers, engineers, and field teams Review control sequences, project scope, and technical documentation Perform system testing, point-to-point checks, and device calibration Support procurement, reporting, and project tracking where required Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and future business Mentor junior engineers and technicians where appropriate We are open to candidates from either HAVC / Building Automation OR Industrial Automation backgrounds with experience in one or more of the following: Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) HVAC Controls / DDC Systems PLC Programming
HMI / SCADA
Systems Industrial Controls & Automation Additional Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation Experience with commissioning, programming, troubleshooting, or project delivery Understanding of communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, or similar Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Why join?
