Job Description

What you'll be doing: As a Senior Network Engineer you will play critical role in designing, managing, and improving Avon's network infrastructure that powers our global operations across manufacturing, retail, and direct selling. You'll participate in designing technical solutions and will be responsible to provision and manage these environments the most effective, secure, and resilient way. Identifying and documenting best practices, troubleshooting issues, plus providing technical directions to the Network and Network Security teams are also key part of the role.
Key responsibilities:
Provide L3 support for network transport, routing, DNS, load balancing, and network automation Lead and mentor L2 analysts, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with security and audit standards Optimizing, monitoring and supporting network transport, routing, DNS, DHCP, and load balancing Leading and participating in troubleshooting connectivity, routing, segmentation, and application delivery issues Performing routine network maintenance (configuration changes, firmware upgrades, etc) Leading and participating in network lifecycle activities, cloud connectivity design and testing Design and implement new, effective solutions to improve security and effectiveness of our network infrastructure on-prem and in cloud (AWS) Participate in Network Security / Firewall related projects / activities, collaborate closely with colleagues to make meaningful outcome together What we're looking for: Proven experience in network security engineering within enterprise environments. Experience with load balancing solutions, including Citrix NetScaler/ADC and other load-balancing technologies. Understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, NHRP), networking concepts, and best practices. Experience with Cisco security technologies, including FMC, FTD, ASA, Cisco ISE, TACACS+, and other AAA solutions. Experience in using troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, for example). Knowledge of cloud networking, mainly AWS, including AWS VPC networking. Good troubleshooting skills. Good English communication skills (B2 or higher). Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto next-generation firewalls is nice to have. Understanding of Zero Trust networking and SASE platforms, including Zscaler, is nice to have. Exposure to cloud migration or automation projects, including Terraform, is nice to have. Knowledge of SDN or network automation tools is nice to have. Exposure to Nutanix, VMware networking, and enterprise wireless networking is nice to have.
