$120,000 - $185,000 (Based on Experience) Position Overview Seeking an Automation Engineer to design, program, and support

PLC/SCADA

control systems for industrial and commercial facilities. This role focuses on delivering reliable automation solutions, ensuring compliance, and supporting commissioning activities. Key Responsibilities Design and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems Test, troubleshoot, and commission control systems Collaborate with engineering and project teams Develop control documentation, specifications, and test plans Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, and safety standards Support FAT/SAT, startup, and system optimization Work with industrial networks and communication protocols Review and update drawings using Bluebeam Provide technical input on controls design and architecture Coordinate with vendors and integrators on equipment and updates Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or related field 5+ years of experience with Automation/Controls Engineering Strong Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC experience; Fanuc a plus Knowledge of HMI/SCADA, Ethernet, Modbus, DeviceNet, and industrial networks Familiarity with NFPA 70, NEC, and electrical standards Experience with industrial, agricultural, mission-critical, or commercial systems Controls design, QA, and FAT/SAT commissioning experience Proficient with Bluebeam and technical documentation Controls, PLC, or automation certifications preferred Candidates who fill out the skills and questions will be the first candidates reviewed!
