6-Month Contract-to-Hire Overview Our organization is seeking a Network Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure in a primarily Cisco-based environment. This role is responsible for network administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, upgrades, and infrastructure projects that support critical business operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with IT teams on operational and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities + Support and maintain enterprise

network infrastructure. + Monitor network performance and perform preventative maintenance. + Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues. + Configure, install, upgrade, and maintain network hardware and software. + Participate in infrastructure projects, system implementations, and technology upgrades. + Support network security initiatives and best practices. + Maintain network documentation, configurations, and standards. + Support remote access technologies and connectivity solutions. + Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and support deployments. + Participate in an on-call rotation for critical support needs. Required Qualifications + 2+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Administration, or a related infrastructure role. + Experience supporting Cisco networking environments. + Strong knowledge of: + Network routing and switching + LAN / WAN technologies + Network monitoring and troubleshooting + Network security best practices + Experience with Cisco Catalyst switching environments. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. + Cisco certification ( CCT , CCNA , or equivalent). Preferred Qualifications + Experience supporting Cisco Meraki solutions. + Experience with infrastructure upgrade and implementation projects. + Experience supporting enterprise network environments. + Additional Cisco certifications are highly desirable.
