Job Description Lead the development and execution of automation and controls strategies across manufacturing operations. Design, implement, and optimize controls systems, automation architectures, and equipment integration solutions. Partner with engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams to improve process efficiency, throughput, and reliability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation and advanced control technologies. Troubleshoot complex controls and automation issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions. Develop standards and best practices for controls engineering and automation across the organization. Support equipment commissioning, validation, and startup activities for new manufacturing processes and systems. Evaluate emerging technologies and automation platforms to support future growth and scalability. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 8+ years of controls and automation engineering experience. Strong experience within a manufacturing environment; industry background is flexible. Demonstrated expertise in automation systems, controls architecture, and process improvement initiatives. Proven ability to lead complex automation projects from concept through implementation. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
