Job Description

We are a fast-growing Physical AI company founded at MIT. We develop and deploy extensive fleets of purpose-built industrial robots. We are building a future where AI-native robots handle all the repetitive and physically demanding tasks. Looking for a talented and experienced wireless network engineer driven to take part in developing a low-infrastructure wireless networking solution for challenging and evolving environments. Responsibilities:
Engage in systems analysis, engineering, and improvement of existing network technology Document network development and testing Resolve issues and minimize the impact for customers Setup, troubleshoot, and optimize long-range wireless networks at industrial facilities and construction sites: 900MHz mesh network, similar to long-range WiFi. Model wireless networks using specialized software Conduct wireless site surveys, and provide guidance for deployment engineers and technicians Research and improve network monitoring and remote administration technology, network routing technology Research and improve network security
Qualifications:
Bachelor's +3 years industry experience, or Master's degree +2 years experience in a related field Strong understanding of RF and wireless communication technologies, WAN, LAN Hands-on experience in wireless network installation, configuration, and maintenance Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues using diagnostic tools Experience in conducting wireless site surveys Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel occasionally for site surveys, deployment, and troubleshooting Preferred but not required: Experience with HaLow or LoRaWAN is an advantage Any knowledge of network security monitoring is an advantage Familiarity with relevant tools - Ekahau, Wireshark, SolarWinds, Splunk etc. Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices for efficient network management Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems Experience with C++ or script languages Wireless networking certification (CWNA, CWDP, etc) We are a fast-paced, highly technical organization.
