  • Secret Lincoln, MA Apply Job Description Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) systems.
This role requires a deep understanding of network infrastructure, VoIP protocols, and telecommunication systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills. Applied Research Solutions is a leading provider of innovative research and development services, dedicated to advancing technology and scientific knowledge. Our team in Lexington, MA, is at the forefront of cutting-edge research, driving impactful solutions across various domains. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment where creativity and expertise thrive. This position focuses solely on the telecom models piece. We need a telephony expert who understands, VoIP & TDM systems and the migration of TDM to VoIP. Understanding of the gov acquisitions process would be infinitely helpful as well. Ideally we'd like the candidate to understand MPLS Protocols, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), RTP (Real-Time Transport Protocol) and SRTP (Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol), IPv4 vs IPv6, TCP & UDP in VoIP, Session Border Controllers, public switched telephone networks, PSAT and understanding of 911 requirements and protocols.
Rate:
