Senior Network Architect - Cisco / Fortinet / Extreme Networks $80-$85/hr | North Andover, MA | 10+ Month Contract Entegee is seeking an experienced Senior Network Architect for an exciting long-term contract opportunity in North Andover, Massachusetts! We are looking for a highly skilled networking professional with strong hands-on experience in Cisco routing and switching, Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls, and Extreme Networks wireless technologies . This position will focus on assessing an existing enterprise network, identifying vulnerabilities and single points of failure, improving network performance and reliability, and developing a strategic roadmap for network modernization. Onsite work is strongly preferred, although a hybrid arrangement may be considered for a highly qualified candidate. Key Responsibilities Assess existing enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, firewall, and network infrastructure. Evaluate Cisco routing and switching configurations, performance, capacity, and resiliency. Assess and optimize Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls and security configurations. Design, troubleshoot, and optimize Extreme Networks wireless environments. Identify network bottlenecks, configuration risks, and single points of failure. Design high-availability, redundancy, and automated failover solutions to minimize outages. Investigate recurring network incidents and recommend permanent architectural improvements. Develop current-state and future-state network architecture diagrams. Recommend infrastructure modernization, performance optimization, and security enhancements. Create technical documentation, network standards, and prioritized technology roadmaps. Present recommendations to technical teams and business stakeholders. Required Qualifications Extensive experience designing, architecting, and supporting complex enterprise networks. Strong hands-on Cisco routing and switching experience. Strong Fortinet/FortiGate firewall administration and architecture experience. Hands-on experience with Extreme Networks wireless infrastructure. Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing protocols, switching, network segmentation, and high availability. Experience performing enterprise network assessments and identifying infrastructure risks. Proven ability to design resilient networks that minimize downtime and eliminate single points of failure. Experience troubleshooting complex network performance, connectivity, and availability issues. Ability to develop actionable remediation plans and long-term network modernization strategies. Strong technical documentation and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification. Fortinet NSE or

FCP/FCSS

certification. Extreme Networks certifications. SD-WAN, zero-trust networking, or network access control experience. Network monitoring, automation, and configuration management experience. Experience with enterprise network modernization projects. Hybrid cloud and cloud-connected network architecture experience.
