Key job responsibilities Define and develop deployment processes, service procedures, and field maintenance workflows to support a fleet of deployed robots Design tooling, fixtures, and ground support equipment (or author requirements for outsourced development) that enable safe, repeatable installation, servicing, and repair of mechatronic systems. Troubleshoot complex hardware, and software failures in the field during deployment campaigns and operational incidents; perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions. Influence HW and SW engineering teams to incorporate serviceability, diagnosability, and deployment-readiness features (DFx) into product design through technical requirements and design reviews. Execute and interpret CLI-based diagnostics, parse system logs, and leverage software tooling to verify robot health, isolate faults, and validate firmware/configuration updates. Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, controls, and software engineers to translate field learnings into design improvements that reduce deployment cycle time and increase fleet reliability. Develop and maintain technical documentation—including service manuals, work instructions, and troubleshooting guides—to scale deployment knowledge across sites and teams. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field Experience in program or project management 5+ years of experience deploying or managing large fleets of complex electro-mechanical devices 3+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams, influencing product and functional requirements Preferred Qualifications Experience in software development Experience with retrofits, launches, or automation deployments, or experience in reliability/maintenance environments Experience in hardware design Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
