Job Description

About the Role As a Site Automation Lead, you will spearhead the deployment of complex robotic systems within high-density warehouse environments. You will be responsible for the end-to-end installation lifecycle, ensuring that cutting-edge automation technology is integrated safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Direct the on-site installation of automation equipment, electrical systems, and controls, guiding projects from initial mobilization to commissioning readiness. Lead multi-disciplinary teams and third-party contractors to ensure project milestones are met with precision and zero safety incidents. Act as the primary technical authority on-site, making critical real-time decisions to resolve installation bottlenecks and mitigate schedule risks. Perform hands-on field verification and performance testing to validate system integrity and operational readiness. Manage the financial and scheduling impacts of field modifications, ensuring resource efficiency and high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with engineering and project management stakeholders to refine installation processes and capture actionable insights for future deployments. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with industrial automation, ASRS, or large-scale capital equipment installations. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced construction or industrial environments. Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex design or execution issues in the field. Ability to travel up to 80% to various customer sites to oversee active installations. Preferred Skills Experience managing electrical and controls integration projects. Proficiency in identifying and escalating risks to project timelines and budgets. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with vendors, contractors, and senior leadership.
