•7:30 AM EST |

Mid/Overnight Shift Schedule:

24x7x365 operation

•weekends & holidays may be required

Contract:

Long-Term | Contract-to-Hire possible

Education:

HS Diploma/GED + 2 years relevant experience OR Associate degree + 1-2 years relevant experience What You'll Do Monitor and troubleshoot IP networks, systems, routers, switches, firewalls, and circuits Monitor network performance and coordinate with telecom providers for service restoration Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 network/system incidents Work with incident management tools and maintain accurate incident documentation Troubleshoot Cisco devices, TCP/IP, HSRP and BGP Support high-availability network and data communication environments Escalate complex issues and collaborate with senior NOC/network engineers Provide strong customer support while managing multiple incidents and priorities Required Skills Network+ Certification Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking Hands-on experience troubleshooting Cisco devices Experience with

HSRP/BGP

Understanding of

ITIL/ITSM

Strong troubleshooting, communication, multitasking and attention-to-detail skills Preferred CCNA Remedy / Netcool ServiceNow Microsoft Office 365 NOC Training The selected candidate will be cross-trained across three NOC functions: Transport | DataLink | Applications Training will cover network monitoring, ground station/data-link systems, routers, circuits, firewalls and application/message-flow monitoring.
