Systems Administrator (VMWare/VDI) - TS/SCI w/ Poly On-siteGovernmentFull time Laurel, Maryland, United States Description The Sponsor provides the design, analysis, development, implementation and integration of secure and reliable computer applications and services that are essential to the Sponsor mission. The work may be performed independently or within a team environment. The Sponsor needs skills in concept development (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo) and execution while managing a moderate to heavy workload. The Sponsor maintains a virtual machine infrastructure comprised of several virtual environments and virtual machines. This includes installing, upgrading, patching, and maintenance on hosts (hypervisors) that contain virtual machines, and any virtualization hardware and software necessary to operate and maintain the virtual infrastructure. Requirements
5+ years' experience with virtualization technology, such as VMWare, Proxmox, or Cisco Experience with vCenter and ESXi or Horizon and Citrix on a distributed network to enable VDI communication Experience translating customer requirements into a deployed virtualized environment Experience supporting a distributed multi-site network environment Experience with enterprise storage technology, including FAS via NFS
Experience using VMware PowerCLI using PowerShell Experience using Omnissa/VMware App Volumes
Experience with VDI Experience with Windows administration
Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server administration Proficiency in SQL commands and relational database management systems
