Job Description

We are seeking a NetSuite Integration Engineer for a 12-month contract position based in Rockville, Maryland. In this role, you will design, configure, and deploy NetSuite solutions with a focus on accounts payable automation and integration, working closely with AI and technical specialists to implement auditor-verifiable controls. Responsibilities Develop and deploy SuiteScript 2.x/2.1 solutions across User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, and RESTlet script types to support AP and procure-to-pay workflows. Configure and optimize SuiteFlow workflows and SuiteAnalytics saved searches for reporting and process automation. Design and implement NetSuite AP controls, including 3-Way Match and Bill Capture configuration, vendor bill processing, PO matching, approval routing, and GL segmentation. Manage sandbox-to-production deployment using SDF, SuiteBundler, or equivalent controlled promotion processes. Configure
SSO/SAML
authentication and design role-based permission structures within NetSuite. Integrate third-party platforms—such as OCR, document capture, or AI extraction tools—into NetSuite AP workflows. Collaborate with AI engineers and implementation teams to ensure solutions produce audit-ready control evidence. Support production systems and troubleshoot issues in live environments. Qualifications Required 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience, including production implementations you personally built and supported. Deep proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x/2.1: User Event, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, and RESTlet script types. Direct experience with NetSuite AP and procure-to-pay records, including vendor bills, PO matching, approval routing, and GL segmentation. Hands-on experience activating 3-Way Match and Bill Capture, or demonstrably equivalent controls configuration work. Proficiency with sandbox-to-production deployment discipline using SDF, SuiteBundler, or equivalent controlled promotion processes. Experience configuring SSO/SAML and designing role-based permissions in NetSuite. Two professional references from NetSuite implementation or administration engagements, with finance or AP experience preferred. Preferred SuiteFoundation and/or SuiteCloud Developer II certification. OneWorld and multi-subsidiary experience, particularly with onboarding acquired entities. Prior integration of OCR, document capture, or AI extraction platforms into NetSuite AP. Experience with SOX compliance and audit-evidence documentation. Comfort collaborating with AI engineers who may not have NetSuite expertise.
