About you
Education, Qualifications:
4 years or equivalent level of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or systems administration, with a focus on enterprise storage and backup solutions.

Hands-on experience with storage systems like NetApp and Infinidat, as well as backup and recovery technologies like Commvault AVMAR and Rubrik HyperScale.

Proficient in troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise storage and backup environments.

Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, system security, and disaster recovery strategies.

Expertise in designing and implementing high-availability storage solutions, ensuring that systems are fault-tolerant and meet RTO/RPO requirements.

Experience in integrating backup solutions into cloud environments, optimizing backup performance for hybrid cloud infrastructures.
It Would Be Great If You Also Had:
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automating infrastructure tasks and deployments.

Experience working with cloud-native storage and backup solutions (e.g., Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage).Experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.

Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere or other virtualization technologies.

Experience in setting up and maintaining multi-site disaster recovery solutions.

Expertise in defining and maintaining storage tiers and data lifecycle management policies. What will you be doing In this roleDesign, deploy, and manage infrastructure solutions to support enterprise-scale applications, ensuring high availability and performance.

Lead storage and backup infrastructure projects across various technologies, ensuring the protection and integrity of enterprise data.

Implement and manage storage solutions such as NetApp, Infinidat, and other leading technologies to meet both performance and scalability needs.

Manage and optimize backup strategies using Commvault-Hyperscale, AVMAR and Rubrik to ensure timely, reliable, and secure backup of critical systems.

Configure and optimize disaster recovery solutions, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime.

Maintain and administer systems across hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud), with a focus on storage and backup.

Work with development, security, and operations teams to ensure infrastructure performance, compliance, and security.

Automate infrastructure processes and deployments to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and conduct root cause analysis and resolution to prevent future occurrences.
