Akkodis is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer for a Contract with a client in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will help design, automate, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and developer platforms that improve productivity across the enterprise.

Rate Range:

$60/Hour to $70/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Network Infrastructure Engineer Responsibilities include:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and reusable platform services that support developer productivity and self-service capabilities. Collaborate with architects, software engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing platform solutions. Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD automation to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes. Evaluate and integrate cloud technologies, containerization platforms, and enterprise tools to create standardized solutions for application teams. Monitor platform performance, implement security best practices, and ensure compliance with disaster recovery, access management, and data protection requirements. Support continuous platform improvement by gathering feedback, optimizing system reliability, and enhancing scalability, monitoring, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 6+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years of software development or platform engineering experience. Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation using Python or Java. Experience implementing security best practices, network engineering, monitoring, disaster recovery, and scalable cloud-based solutions in enterprise environments. Pay Details:
