Location Type:
This role is onsite at our Lake Orion, MI facility. As a Controls Engineer II, you will work with some of the most talented engineers in the automation industry. This role will enable you to perfect your controls experience while integrating some of the most state-of-the-art robotics and technology available. Impact:
Design, implement, and document controls systems for various types of automated equipment Troubleshoot robot controllers, ladder logic, electrical control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices and peripheral equipment. Perform machine power up, debug and programming. Ensure equipment is designed and programmed to specifications using standard techniques and approach.

What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, OR an Associate's Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with JR Automation or within the automation industry is strongly preferred. Experience working with one or more of the following: PLCs, HMIs, robotics, mechatronics, motion control systems, vision systems, and/or programming. Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks is preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings. Willingness and ability to travel 35-50% to customer sites and other JR Automation locations.
