Duration:
12 Months Lives within commutable distance from Redford Township (Detroit) MI. What city do you live in? Work onsite daily CCNA minimum, CCNP desired, CCIE ideal; what active cert do you have? Provide copy of your certs.- Strong Route/Switch technical understanding
- Hands-on Cisco Routers, Switches, etc.
- CLI config, installs, testing, troubleshooting, monitoring, maintenance, moves/adds/ changes (Level 2 or L3)
- Service as L2 or L3 escalation engineer to resolve operational issues.
- Some hands on Firewalls, VPN, NAT, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- High level device Security, ACLs, VLAN, Policies, etc.
- Understand device security best practices
- Used monitoring tools such as: Splunk, Solarwinds, Wireshark, etc.
- Monitor network performance proactively Deep understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP stack
- Understands Change Management process, config standards for hardware
- Install and configure devices following change control Verify, update network related documentation, SOPs Clear English communication skills, able to articulate issues with end users or others.
