Open Radio Access Network Engineer - (O-RAN)

Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future This project aims to develop an Open Radio Access Network O-RAN networking infrastructure in an O-RAN compatible private 5G network deployment. In addition to the enabling networking infrastructure, the project co-develops UE-side applications with O-RAN-side radio resource control algorithms in forms of xApps to demonstrate application performance boost achieved via the cross layer optimizations. We are moving from the current pure measurement data analysis of 5G communication to private 5G network deployment based on O-RAN architecture. In this transition, lots of programming skills will be required, since deploying a private 5G network requires integrating several open source projects together. Qualifications MS or PHD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent Experience with Open Radio Access Network deployment Experience with 5G Private Networks Python Programming Data Analytics
